Brief description: Grandma Lupe’s maloka represents the unity and emotional balance of a Harakbut family. The grandmother goes to the farm and returns carrying the wënpu (typical bag) on her back bringing various agricultural products. Grandma Lupe is wise and plays the role of mediator- she calls all her children and grandchildren to her unit. The role of the Harakbut woman is very important in the town because she represents emotional support; she is in charge of strengthening the language, customs, the unity of her children, and helps her children and grandchildren excel without losing the essence of being Harakbut.
