Brief description: For the Harakbut, the animals were once human beings but at one point they sacrificed themselves and became different kinds of animals so that the Harakbut could survive and care for the forests. In the world of dreams they regain their human appearance and tell us about upcoming events. Only the wayorokeri can interpret this connection with the animals that manifest and speak to us in dreams. This painting reflects the birds, fish, mammals and other beings of the forest that disappear due to mining activities that destroy their physical and spiritual world.
